Dosimeter-radiometer
is intended for measuring ionizing radiation including
dose rate of gamma-radiation, accumulated dose and surface
flux density of beta-particles. Additionally the functions
of clock with date, alarm clock, timer, vibration signal,
illuminating of display and sound alarm are realized in
a dosimeter. In a dosimeter the values of threshold levels
for dose rate of gamma-radiation, accumulated dose and
surface flux density of beta-particles are programmed.
A dosimeter is given single tonality sound or vibration
signal (may be swithed off) at the hit of gamma-quantum
or beta particle in a detector and signal of two tonalities
at exceeding of the programmed threshold levels. Additionally,
the screen displays the type of radiation being measured,
its magnitude and intensity, the current measurement error
in %, time or timer, battery power, the threshold beyond
which the alarm will be activated.
A
dosimeter is used for dosimetric survey on industrial
enterprises and homes, for ecological researches, for
control of radiation cleanness of dwellings apartments,
buildings and premises, adjoining to them territories,
objects, clothes, building materials, surface of soil
on the small holdings, transport vehicles, money and coins,
for the estimation of radiation contamination of forest
berries and mushrooms, fish and meat, as a visual aid
for educational establishments and servces of CD.
This
dosimeter is an improved version of the dosimeter MKS-05
"TERRA" - they have identical measuring
circuit, but MKS-05 "TERRA-H" has much more
functionality settings, processing and visualization of
results. Thanks to the built-in memory allows you to log
dosimeter measurements and store custom settings when
power is turned off. The dosimeter is included in the
State Register of measuring equipment in Ukraine and in
the case of official measurements is subject to periodic
check with frequency not less than 1 time per year. Communication
with the computer, the model of the dosimeter (in contrast
to the model of the MKS-05
"TERRA-H bluetooth") does not have! A leather
cover supply for free for carrying of
device on a belt and protect of him from dirt, splashes
of water and hits.
